The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA) is organizing the Singapore Anaesthesia Refresher Course (SARC) alongside the KK Hospital Obstetrics Anaesthesia Symposium (KKOAS) and Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia (ASPA) symposium. Building on the success of the digital edition of SARC 2021, the 6th edition of the Singapore Anaesthesia Refresher Course (SARC2023) will be held on the 16 & 17 of September at Academia, Singapore. Pre-conference workshops include a 2 day adult critical care ultrasound workshop and a 1/2 day advanced regional anaesthesia workshop. The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists are honoured to be co-organizers of the 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists (WCA2024).
The congress is organised on behalf of the World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA). Held bi-annually since 1955, WCA has been recognised for its contribution and impact to the global anaesthesiology community.
With representation from more than 130 countries, the WCA is the only international congress that offers a comprehensive programme that addresses anaesthesiology globally. Additionally, WCA provides training and education opportunities that drive conversations, deepen collaboration and accelerate the promotion of science, networking, and knowledge share across the spectrum of anaesthesiology.
WCA 2024 is the 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists, taking place in Singapore from 3 – 7 March 2024. This will be the first WCA Congress to be held in person since 2016, and we look forward to the warmth of personal exchange with new and familiar members.

NATA is excited to host a 24h World Webinar – PBM Marathon in collaboration with colleagues and medical societies around the world.
Each participating society is developing their own programme. Sessions can be in English or in the local language.
The inaugural session begins in Athens to celebrate the of the Annual NATA Symposium. We then travel to Brazil and Latin America, to North America, to Australia, then through Singapore and Asia, over to South Africa, Lebanon and Morocco, wrapping up this exceptional experience and global celebration of PBM back in Athens.
The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA) is a professional medical society open to all registered medical practitioners engaged in the practice of anaesthesia. We welcome anaesthesia specialists, trainees, residents, fellows, and medical officers to join us. Allied healthcare professionals & medical students with an interest in anaesthesia, perioperative care, critical care, and pain medicine may join SSA as Associate Members. The SSA organizes and sanctions educational events that promote learning and interaction for its members.
