Together We Can

The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA) in partnership with the World Federation of Anaesthesiologists  (WFSA) hosted the 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists from the 3-7 March 2024.

We were delighted to have 5044 participants in-person in Singapore, joined by a further 563 participating virtually.  These participants come from 142 countries and Singapore is proud to play host to the international anaesthesiology community.

The SSA also organized several pre-congress events (Sustainability Congress, National Airway Program Singapore and SSA-SBI EEG Bootcamp).  We also played host to the Confederation of ASEAN Anaesthesiologists (CASA) at the Presidents’ Round table and the inaugural Asian Malignant Hyperthermia Alliance. The Society also organized the Congress Dinner at MBS attended by over 1000 participants and the Networking Dinner at Chijmes.

The SSA would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the anaesthesiologists, sponsors and partners who have contributed and worked tirelessly to make the 18th WCA a resounding success.  Please relive these precious moments through this selection of photographs. More photographs can be viewed under the gallery section.
